♚ VISUAL: Elena is five feet and six inches tall, with an olive complexion that's on the lighter side. Her build is slender and athletic. Her hair is long and dark brown, usually worn pin straight. She has expressive brown eyes.
♚ FASHION: Elena's sense of style is both feminine and casual; it's meant to look effortless. She'll dress to the nines when the occasion calls for it, but most of the time you'll find her in comfortable layers: lace-trimmed tops, henley shirts, leather jackets, and jeans. Converse sneakers and boots sold separately.
♚ DEMEANOR: Elena's outward demeanor is friendly and approachable. She has one of those darn trusting faces, though this is not always the case. Still waters, etc.
♚ AURAL: Her voice has a hint of raspiness to it.
♚ OLFACTORY: Elena owns scents that are light and feminine, but never pungent. Her signature fragrance is Givenchy's Dahlia Noir: the perfume for special occasions, the body lotion for her day-to-day.
♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: She usually wears a vervain necklace, or ingests vervain, to keep vampires from compelling her. That said, she has no special mental shields, and isn't immune to telepathy and likeminded abilities. Feel free to have your character read her narrative thoughts if they can - Elena has a rich internal life.
♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Elena is a doppelgänger - a shadow self of one of her world's very first immortal beings, though Elena does not know all of the details. Doppelgängers are meant to sustain the natural balance, by dying in place of their immortal ancestors. Their blood is also a key ingredient for many spells.

♚ BACKTAGGING: I'm a slow tagger. Sometimes real life gets in the way, and sometimes inspiration isn't there. I try to be present when I know I'll be giving my best to my writing partners. Backtagging is a dream, but I understand that some things need to be dropped at times, for whatever reasons. Feel free to get in touch with me if you ever want to discuss the remainder of a thread.
♚ FOURTHWALLING: For the time being, I'm going to say no.
♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Sure! Elena is a very tactile person, and much of the affection and comfort she displays is through touch.
♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Just let me know beforehand if it's something serious, and I'll do the same. Communication is key.
♚ DEATH: Let's discuss!
♚ RELATIONSHIPS: I'm up for exploring relationships of all kinds, those presented in canon and cross-canon. Elena is kind of like a baby duck; she'll imprint on someone if she relates, identifies, or cares for them.

Per the show's wiki:
Vampires are magically reanimated beings inhabited by the spirits of the deceased person, closely resembling the living human they were prior to transformation. Vampires feed and survive on the blood of the living, typically that of humans. A human who has consumed vampire blood in some way (whether by drinking it, having it poured into their open wound, or by being injected with it) and has subsequently died with the blood in their system will be magically revived as an undead vampire, just like the vampire who sired them.

They gain abilities, such as super strength, speed, and agility. They are immortal and their blood possesses healing properties, and more importantly, the ability to compel. At this point in time, Elena has learned how to Vamp, and she will not feed on your character or compel them unless she finds it absolutely necessary. When it comes to feeding, she'll likely ask for permission.

Please fill this out if you have the inclination to do so. Just because Elena will be a vampire on good behavior (for now) doesn't mean the info you give me can't be used for cool plots down the line. :')

1. Can Elena feed on your character? If their blood isn't human, what effect might it have?
2. Can she compel them, or would they be immune?
3. Can she manipulate your character's dreams and/or share memories with them?
4. Are there any particular scents you think Elena might pick up on?
IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING, but: I will never have Elena do anything to your character without your expressed permission and interest. If there's even an inkling that something might happen, I will get with you and we can hash things out, either to plot or avoid.
Your comfort comes first. ❤

1. She literally cannot feed on Kon his skin is bulletproof. I would be down for her trying though because it'd be hilarious. She can feed on Dipper, though we should definitely talk about it first. Georgia's blood has zombie disease in it and while Elena's probably immune, she might turn the next person she feeds on into a zombie if she doesn't wash her mouth with bleach and that's not even considering what might happen if Elena feeds people her blood while George's blood is in her system so maaaaybe not a good idea (and also Shaun would get murdery).

2. Kon and George she can definitely compel (though talk first). Dipper has a vervain bracelet.

3. I forget if vervain blocks this but otherwise it's a yes all around.

4. Dipper smells like unwashed preteen boy. Do not smell Dipper. You will regret it. He doesn't shower or do laundry nearly enough he's a mess. George smells slightly lemony and slightly bleachy because while she doesn't do the bleach shower thing as often as she did at home, she still does it sometimes, and citrus lotion helps keep her skin from dying from all the bleach. It's also possible the zombie disease makes her smell slightly different, but I'm not sure how. Kon definitely doesn't smell human. He smells like sunshine, if sunshine had a smell.

1. Yes, to both Billy and Nate. Umm Nate has like a weird version of a super soldier serum that turns him into steel so how knows how that would work, and Billy is probably fine cuz his powers are a genetic mutation? Idk how that effects his blood or what it would do to her. We can find out!

2. She can compel them both. Though, I'm sure Billy knows about vervain at this point??

3. Sure!

4. Nate probably smells like metal. Billy probably smells like ozone and electricity and his magic- which idk what it smells like, chaos? If chaos had a smell?

1. Elena can feed on her, yes. Wanda has all that energy from the Mind Stone (one of the infinity stones) in her system, so whether Elena would find it extra delicious because of that, or gross, or maybe it would do something like temporarily boost her already super healing factor even more super/or not at all, is obviously up to you. ~WEIRD MAGICAL STUFF~ idk idk.

2. Given Wanda's own mental powers and the fact that in TVD canon magical people can't be compelled, I may split the difference and say Wanda would be harder (but not impossible) to compel and would have a better (but not guaranteed) chance of breaking out of it than a regular human does, if that sounds reasonable to you? I wanna make this fun for both of us, so if you have a better idea to suggest with how to make this reasonable, hit me up! We've rp'd together for actual years, so you know you can always contact me. ♥

3. Yes. I usually play with this with other telepathic characters by saying Wanda knows they're illusions since it's one of her tricks too.

4. Wanda smells like ... infinity stone magic, which is prrrrobably a sharp ozone-y smell??? When she wears perfume, it's usually jasmine scented; her other soaps and body washes are of light vanilla or berry scents. She also would smell like various candles/incense/flowers/herbs/spices that she's around.

1. Yes for Freya, all she has to do is ask. I'm gonna say no for Kimberly, because her skin seemingly can't be penetrated according to canon? I'm gonna double check but I don't think you can bite her.

2. Freya, no, because witch. Kimberly yes, but please talk with me about it first!

3. I think in theory she can do that for both of them, but with Freya it would have to be discussed ICly because Freya would have to let her in, and Kimberly would just consider it weird, but I'm down depending on the situation.

4. Freya: SO MUCH SAGE also other generally herbal/witchy scents. Kimberly smells mostly like normal teenage girl with floral soaps and fancy shampoos but she also carries around an alien metallic coin with her at all times, so Elena might pick up on that? Not that she'd really know what it was.
thevulnerability: please do not take (✥ you get what you want after all)

Chloe Decker~

[personal profile] thevulnerability 2017-07-05 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Chloe says no but Bex says CAN THIS PLEASE HAPPEN. Idk what we have to do to make it happen (trap them in the caves for three days? starve elena out until chloe comes sweeping in and has to let her eat? I DON'T KNOW) but I would really like it to happen eventually. If it does, though, it'll be a one-off besides Chloe obviously not letting Elena die or be hurt in which case when she needs Chloe's blood, she'll have it.

2) Since there is nothing in canon that says she is immune to any compulsion beyond Lucifer's, we're gonna go with that she can be compelled. She is getting vervain from a certain witch it looks like before Elena's update, so she'll probably wear that a lot unless we need to make it that she isn't.

3) Absolutely yes on this one!

4) Chloe doesn't usually wear perfume, so she generally smells like a very soft non-scented lotion and shampoo and herself (you know, that comforting mom smell). When she does wear perfume (sometimes when she's out, like at Lux) she'll wear a mellow department store type of perfume. Other than that, depending on how advanced her sense of smell is, she will smell like Lucifer (faintly, just from being around him probably more than that later), Deux Lux in general, and alcohol (more so the few nights a week that she has a couple drinks). Also heaven and angels and happiness.

[personal profile] lamiae 2017-07-05 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
1. Yes. Beckett is human, physically.
2. My gut says it wouldn't really work on her, now that she's blossomed into her ~psychic abilities~ more.
3. Sure! But the teenage oracle would likely notice and be self-aware within the dream.
4. A slight hint of oleander.

doc holliday, wynonna earp.

[personal profile] wildwest 2017-07-05 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
1. Doc is a near-immortal cursed blessed with eternal health. It wouldn't be unreasonable to say his blood chemistry is different (or at least tastes different?) due to how rapidly his cells regenerate. Do with that knowledge as you wish, I'm more than happy to follow your lead on this.

2. Compel away!

3. Go for it, if claustrophobic, PTSD ridden dreams are your dreamscape of choice.

4. Likely a mixture of gunpowder, tobacco, leather, and lavender.

1. EAT HIM UP he's in real good shape and maybe we can do a nanobot transfer miniplot or sth
2. he's so gullible compellable
3. yeah he's used to gideon poking around in them it's nbd
4. sarah weller 😏
literalidiotball: (Default)

Dorian, Wheatley, and Zack

[personal profile] literalidiotball 2017-07-06 04:30 pm (UTC)(link)

1. He is a robot. It is physically impossible to feed from him.

2. Wheatley is so stupid he simply cannot be compelled. Seriously, someone tried to use a logical paradox to shut him down and that did not work at all.

3. We might have to talk about if this would be possible or not with a robot.

4. He smells like metal and electricity.

1. He can be fed upon with no side effects.

2. Same with compelling. It's possible, just let me know.

3. He has no mental blocks. Mess with his dreams.

4. Dorian typically smells like expensive perfumes. One of the things he likes to do is experiment with them, so it's a different smell every other day.

1. Yes, it is physically possible to feed off Zack. However, most of his upper body is covered in bandages because he has burn scars from thw waist up. Also, that might make him try to impale her with a scythe in a fit of blind rage, so maybe it's not the best idea.

2. Yep, just ask.

3. Do this.

4. Smells a lot like unwashed skin, sweat, and dried blood. His roommate gets on his case about personal hygiene, but even still he doesn't clean nearly as much as he should. Gross.

1. She can't feed on Peridot, because Peridot has no blood. She obviously wouldn't feed on Mabel. And she probably wouldn't feed on Rocket either, which is for the best, because FURRY CAPRIS SUN that probably tastes like alkaline or something. So the short answer is yes, but she probably wouldn't want to.

2. Mabel has a vervain bracelet. I feel like Peridot SHOULD be immune, but I'm not 100% sold on the idea. Rocket she can compel to her heart's content if she needs to.

4. Peridot doesn't have a smell since her body is a hard light illusion- her lack of smell is the weird thing. Mabel smells like fruity shampoo/perfume and probably toothpaste (STOP EATING TOOTHPASTE MABEL). Rocket smells like... fur and grease and metal and usually the faint smell of something burning (STOP PLAYING WITH EXPLOSIVES ROCKET).
